The Pale Man by D.N.S

Arguably Guillermo Del Toro's most inspired and terrifying creature creation, the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth is an amalgam of the Tenome demon in Japanese mythology, Saturn the child devourer from Greek mythology, and the body consciousness Del Toro himself experienced as a result of rapid weight loss prior to shooting the film. The albino color, saggy flesh and empty eye sockets produce a repulsive effect on the viewer, and the visual metaphors (stigmata, as the character represents the Church) all combine to make for what is now one of the most iconic and recognizable horror characters ever. Also? It's cool as fuck. Scare your neighbors and put this in a window, it'll be fine.
